Genesis 18:1

English Standard Version

1 And the Lord appeared to him by the oaks[1] of Mamre, as he sat at the door of his tent in the heat of the day. (Ge 13:18; Ge 14:13) 

New International Version

1 The Lord appeared to Abraham near the great trees of Mamre while he was sitting at the entrance to his tent in the heat of the day. 

New International Reader’s Version

1 The LORD appeared to Abraham near the large trees of Mamre. Abraham was sitting at the entrance to his tent. It was the hottest time of the day. 

King James Version

1 And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day;
