2 But Abram said, “O Lord God, what will you give me, for I continue[1] childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?” 

New International Version

2 But Abram said, ‘Sovereign Lord, what can you give me since I remain childless and the one who will inherit[1] my estate is Eliezer of Damascus?’ 

New International Reader’s Version

2 But Abram said, ‘LORD and King, what can you give me? I still don’t have any children. My servant Eliezer comes from Damascus. When I die, he will get everything I own.’ 

King James Version

2 And Abram said, Lord GOD, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus?
