16 I will make your offspring as the dust of the earth, so that if one can count the dust of the earth, your offspring also can be counted. (Ge 15:5; Ge 22:17; Ge 28:14; Ge 32:12; Nu 23:10; 1Ki 3:8) 

New International Version

16 I will make your offspring like the dust of the earth, so that if anyone could count the dust, then your offspring could be counted. 

New International Reader’s Version

16 I will make them like the dust of the earth. Can dust be counted? If it can, then your family can be counted. 

King James Version

16 And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered.
