Genesis 11:2

English Standard Version

2 And as people migrated from the east, they found a plain in the land of Shinar and settled there. (Ge 10:10; Ge 14:1; Ge 14:9; Isa 11:11; Da 1:2; Zec 5:11) 

New International Version

2 As people moved eastward,[1] they found a plain in Shinar[2] and settled there.

2 They moved to the east and found a broad valley in Babylon. There they made their home.
