Galatians 4:29

English Standard Version

29 But just as at that time he who was born according to the flesh persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, so also it is now. (Ge 21:9; Ga 5:11) 

New International Version

29 At that time the son born according to the flesh persecuted the son born by the power of the Spirit. It is the same now. 

New International Reader’s Version

29 At that time, the son born in the usual way tried to hurt the other son. The other son was born by the power of the Holy Spirit. It is the same now. 

King James Version

29 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.
