24 So then, the law was our guardian until Christ came, in order that we might be justified by faith. (Mt 5:17; Ro 10:4; 1Co 4:15; Ga 2:16; Ga 3:11; Col 2:17; Heb 9:9) 

New International Version

24 So the law was our guardian until Christ came that we might be justified by faith. 

New International Reader’s Version

24 So the law was put in charge of us until Christ came. He came so that we might be made right with God by believing in Christ. 

King James Version

24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
