English Standard Version

62 These sought their registration among those enrolled in the genealogies, but they were not found there, and so they were excluded from the priesthood as unclean. (Nu 3:10) 

New International Version

62 These searched for their family records, but they could not find them and so were excluded from the priesthood as unclean. 

New International Reader’s Version

62 The priests looked for their family records. But they couldn’t find them. So they weren’t able to serve as priests. They were ‘unclean’. 

King James Version

62 These sought their register among those that were reckoned by genealogy, but they were not found: therefore were they, as polluted, put from the priesthood.
