18 “Thus says the Lord God: In the first month, on the first day of the month, you shall take a bull from the herd without blemish, and purify the sanctuary. (Le 16:16; Eze 43:20; Eze 43:22; Eze 46:1; Eze 46:3; Eze 46:6)

18 ‘ “This is what the Sovereign Lord says: in the first month on the first day you are to take a young bull without defect and purify the sanctuary. 

New International Reader’s Version

18 The LORD and King says, ‘Get a young bull. It must not have any flaws. Use it to make the temple pure and “clean”. Do this on the first day of the first month.
