Ezekiel 43:7

7 and he said to me, “Son of man, this is the place of my throne and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the people of Israel forever. And the house of Israel shall no more defile my holy name, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoring and by the dead bodies[1] of their kings at their high places,[2] (1Ch 28:2; Ps 99:1; Isa 60:13; Eze 2:1; Eze 20:39; Eze 37:26; Eze 37:28; Eze 43:8)

New International Version

7 He said: ‘Son of man, this is the place of my throne and the place for the soles of my feet. This is where I will live among the Israelites for ever. The people of Israel will never again defile my holy name – neither they nor their kings – by their prostitution and the funeral offerings[1] for their kings at their death.[2]

New International Reader’s Version

7 He said, ‘Son of man, this is the place where my throne is. The stool for my feet is also here. I will live here among the people of Israel for ever. They will never again treat my name as if it were not holy. They and their kings will not serve other gods anymore. The people will no longer make funeral offerings for their kings.

King James Version

7 And he said unto me, Son of man, the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever, and my holy name, shall the house of Israel no more defile, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, nor by the carcases of their kings in their high places.
