17 “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel. Whenever you hear a word from my mouth, you shall give them warning from me. (2Ki 6:10; 2Ch 19:10; Isa 52:8; Isa 56:10; Jer 6:17; Eze 2:1; Eze 3:18; Eze 33:4; Eze 33:7; Heb 13:17)

17 ‘Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the people of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me.

17 The LORD said, ‘Son of man, I have appointed you as a prophet to warn the people of Israel. So listen to my message. Give them a warning from me.

17 Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.
