Ezekiel 22:29

English Standard Version

29 The people of the land have practiced extortion and committed robbery. They have oppressed the poor and needy, and have extorted from the sojourner without justice. (Eze 22:7) 

New International Version

29 The people of the land practise extortion and commit robbery; they oppress the poor and needy and ill-treat the foreigner, denying them justice. 

New International Reader’s Version

29 The people of the land get rich by cheating others. They steal. They crush those who are poor and in need. They treat outsiders badly. They refuse to be fair to them. 

King James Version

29 The people of the land have used oppression, and exercised robbery, and have vexed the poor and needy: yea, they have oppressed the stranger wrongfully.
