Ezekiel 14:8

English Standard Version

8 And I will set my face against that man; I will make him a sign and a byword and cut him off from the midst of my people, and you shall know that I am the Lord. (Le 17:10; De 28:37; Jer 44:11; Eze 5:15; Eze 6:7; Eze 15:7) 

New International Version

8 I will set my face against them and make them an example and a byword. I will remove them from my people. Then you will know that I am the Lord. 

New International Reader’s Version

8 I will turn against them. I will make an example out of them. People will talk about the bad things that happen to them. I will remove them from you. Then you will know that I am the LORD. 

King James Version

8 And I will set my face against that man, and will make him a sign and a proverb, and I will cut him off from the midst of my people; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
