17 “Or if I bring a sword upon that land and say, Let a sword pass through the land, and I cut off from it man and beast, (Le 26:25; Jer 47:6; Eze 14:13; Eze 21:3; Eze 21:9)

17 ‘Or if I bring a sword against that country and say, “Let the sword pass throughout the land,” and I kill its people and their animals,

17 ‘Or suppose I send swords to kill the people in that country. And I say, “Let swords sweep all through the land.” And I kill its people and their animals.
