Ezekiel 1:22

English Standard Version

22 Over the heads of the living creatures there was the likeness of an expanse, shining like awe-inspiring crystal, spread out above their heads. (Eze 1:25; Eze 10:1; Re 4:6) 

New International Version

22 Spread out above the heads of the living creatures was what looked something like a vault, sparkling like crystal, and awesome. 

New International Reader’s Version

22 Something that looked like a huge space was spread out above the heads of the living creatures. It gleamed like crystal. It was terrifying. 

King James Version

22 And the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the living creature was as the colour of the terrible crystal, stretched forth over their heads above.
