Ezekiel 1:20

English Standard Version

20 Wherever the spirit wanted to go, they went, and the wheels rose along with them, for the spirit of the living creatures[1] was in the wheels. (Eze 10:17) 

New International Version

20 Wherever the spirit would go, they would go, and the wheels would rise along with them, because the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels. 

New International Reader’s Version

20 Anywhere their spirits would lead them to go, they would go. And the wheels would rise along with them. That’s because the spirits of the living creatures were in the wheels. 

King James Version

20 Whithersoever the spirit was to go, they went, thither was their spirit to go; and the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.
