4 I also established my covenant with them to give them the land of Canaan, the land in which they lived as sojourners. (Ge 15:18; Ge 17:4; Ge 17:7; Ge 17:8; Ge 28:4) 

New International Version

4 I also established my covenant with them to give them the land of Canaan, where they resided as foreigners. 

New International Reader’s Version

4 I also made my covenant with them. I promised to give them the land of Canaan. That is where they lived as outsiders. 

King James Version

4 And I have also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, wherein they were strangers.
