Exodus 5:13

English Standard Version

13 The taskmasters were urgent, saying, “Complete your work, your daily task each day, as when there was straw.” (Ex 3:7) 

New International Version

13 The slave drivers kept pressing them, saying, ‘Complete the work required of you for each day, just as when you had straw.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

13 Pharaoh’s slave drivers kept making the people work hard. They said, ‘Finish the work you are required to do each day. Make the same number of bricks you made when you had straw.’ 

King James Version

13 And the taskmasters hasted them , saying, Fulfil your works, your daily tasks, as when there was straw.
