35 And Moses was not able to enter the tent of meeting because the cloud settled on it, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. 

New International Version

35 Moses could not enter the tent of meeting because the cloud had settled on it, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. 

New International Reader’s Version

35 Moses couldn’t enter the tent of meeting because the cloud had settled on it. The glory of the LORD filled the holy tent. 

King James Version

35 And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.
