27 and made two rings of gold on it under its molding, on two opposite sides of it, as holders for the poles with which to carry it. 

New International Version

27 They made two gold rings below the moulding – two on each of the opposite sides – to hold the poles used to carry it. 

New International Reader’s Version

27 They made two gold rings below the strip. They put the rings on the sides opposite each other. The rings held the poles used to carry it. 

King James Version

27 And he made two rings of gold for it under the crown thereof, by the two corners of it, upon the two sides thereof, to be places for the staves to bear it withal.
