17 “You shall make a mercy seat[1] of pure gold. Two cubits and a half shall be its length, and a cubit and a half its breadth. (Ex 37:6; Heb 9:5) 

New International Version

17 ‘Make an atonement cover of pure gold – two and a half cubits long and a cubit and a half wide. 

New International Reader’s Version

17 ‘Make its cover out of pure gold. The cover is the place where sin will be paid for. Make it 1.25 metres long and 75 centimetres wide. 

King James Version

17 And thou shalt make a mercy seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof.
