Exodus 21:30

English Standard Version

30 If a ransom is imposed on him, then he shall give for the redemption of his life whatever is imposed on him. (Ex 21:22; Ex 30:12; Nu 35:31)

New International Version

30 However, if payment is demanded, the owner may redeem his life by the payment of whatever is demanded.

New International Reader’s Version

30 But suppose payment is required of him instead. Then the owner can save his life by paying what is required.

King James Version

30 If there be laid on him a sum of money, then he shall give for the ransom of his life whatsoever is laid upon him.
