6 And when he sent word to Moses, “I,[1] your father-in-law Jethro, am coming to you with your wife and her two sons with her,”

6 Jethro had sent word to him, ‘I, your father-in-law Jethro, am coming to you with your wife and her two sons.’

6 Jethro had sent a message to him. It said, ‘I, your father-in-law Jethro, am coming to you. I’m bringing your wife and her two sons.’
