English Standard Version

1 Then Moses and the people of Israel sang this song to the Lord, saying, “I will sing to the Lord, for he has triumphed gloriously; the horse and his rider[1] he has thrown into the sea. (Ex 15:21; Jud 5:1; 2Sa 22:1; Ps 106:12)

New International Version

1 Then Moses and the Israelites sang this song to the Lord: ‘I will sing to the Lord, for he is highly exalted. Both horse and driver he has hurled into the sea.

New International Reader’s Version

1 Here is the song that Moses and the people of Israel sang to the LORD. They said, ‘I will sing to the LORD. He is greatly honoured. He has thrown Pharaoh’s horses and chariot drivers into the Red Sea.

King James Version

1 Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the LORD, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.
