34 So the people took their dough before it was leavened, their kneading bowls being bound up in their cloaks on their shoulders. 

New International Version

34 So the people took their dough before the yeast was added, and carried it on their shoulders in kneading troughs wrapped in clothing. 

New International Reader’s Version

34 So the people took their dough before the yeast was added to it. They carried it on their shoulders in bowls for kneading bread. The bowls were wrapped in clothes. 

King James Version

34 And the people took their dough before it was leavened, their kneadingtroughs being bound up in their clothes upon their shoulders.
