5 The descendants of Jacob numbered seventy[1] in all; Joseph was already in Egypt. (Ge 46:27; Ac 7:14) 

New International Reader’s Version

5 The total number of Jacob’s children and grandchildren was 70. Joseph was already in Egypt. 

King James Version

5 And all the souls that came out of the loins of Jacob were seventy souls: for Joseph was in Egypt already .
