Esther 8:14

English Standard Version

14 So the couriers, mounted on their swift horses that were used in the king’s service, rode out hurriedly, urged by the king’s command. And the decree was issued in Susa the citadel. (Es 8:10)

New International Version

14 The couriers, riding the royal horses, went out, spurred on by the king’s command, and the edict was issued in the citadel of Susa.

New International Reader’s Version

14 The messengers rode on the royal horses. They raced along. That’s what the king commanded them to do. The order was also sent out in the fort of Susa.

King James Version

14 So the posts that rode upon mules and camels went out, being hastened and pressed on by the king' commandment. And the decree was given at Shushan the palace.
