Esther 7:7

English Standard Version

7 And the king arose in his wrath from the wine-drinking and went into the palace garden, but Haman stayed to beg for his life from Queen Esther, for he saw that harm was determined against him by the king. (Es 1:5)

New International Version

7 The king got up in a rage, left his wine and went out into the palace garden. But Haman, realising that the king had already decided his fate, stayed behind to beg Queen Esther for his life.

7 The king got up. He was very angry. He left his wine and went out into the palace garden. But Haman realised that the king had already decided what he was going to do to him. So he stayed behind to beg Queen Esther for his life.

7 And the king arising from the banquet of wine in his wrath went into the palace garden: and Haman stood up to make request for his life to Esther the queen; for he saw that there was evil determined against him by the king.
