Esther 6:2

2 And it was found written how Mordecai had told about Bigthana[1] and Teresh, two of the king’s eunuchs, who guarded the threshold, and who had sought to lay hands on King Ahasuerus. (Es 1:10; Es 2:21; Es 2:22)

New International Version

2 It was found recorded there that Mordecai had exposed Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king’s officers who guarded the doorway, who had conspired to assassinate King Xerxes.

New International Reader’s Version

2 What Mordecai had done was written there. He had uncovered the plans of Bigthana and Teresh. They were two of the king’s officers who guarded the door of the royal palace. They had decided to kill King Xerxes.

King James Version

2 And it was found written, that Mordecai had told of Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king' chamberlains, the keepers of the door, who sought to lay hand on the king Ahasuerus.
