16 In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; (Ps 120:4; Mt 13:19; 1Jo 5:4) 

New International Version

16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 

New International Reader’s Version

16 Also, pick up the shield of faith. With it you can put out all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
