31 “Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” (Ge 2:24; Mt 19:5; Mr 10:7; 1Co 6:16) 

New International Version

31 ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.’ (Ge 2:24) 

New International Reader’s Version

31 Scripture says, ‘That’s why a man will leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife. The two will become one.’ (Ge 2:24) 

King James Version

31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
