Ephesians 5:23

English Standard Version

23 For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior. (1Co 6:13; 1Co 11:3; Eph 1:22) 

New International Version

23 For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Saviour. 

New International Reader’s Version

23 The husband is the head of the wife, just as Christ is the head of the church. The church is Christ’s body. He is its Saviour. 

King James Version

23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
