Ephesians 4:22

22 to put off your old self,[1] which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, (Ro 6:6; Col 3:8; Col 3:9; Heb 3:13; Heb 12:1; Jas 1:21; 1Pe 2:1)

New International Version

22 You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires;

New International Reader’s Version

22 You were taught not to live the way you used to. You must get rid of your old way of life. That’s because it has been made impure by the desire for things that lead you astray.

22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
