1 Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come and the years draw near of which you will say, “I have no pleasure in them”; (2Sa 19:35; Ec 11:8; La 3:27)

1 Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, ‘I find no pleasure in them’ – 

New International Reader’s Version

1 Remember your Creator. Remember him while you are still young. Think about him before your times of trouble come. The years will come when you will say, ‘I don’t find any pleasure in them.’
