Deuteronomy 7:7

English Standard Version

7 It was not because you were more in number than any other people that the Lord set his love on you and chose you, for you were the fewest of all peoples, 

New International Version

7 The Lord did not set his affection on you and choose you because you were more numerous than other peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples. 

New International Reader’s Version

7 The LORD chose you because he loved you very much. He didn’t choose you because you had more people than other nations. In fact, you had the smallest number of all. 

King James Version

7 The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:
