Deuteronomy 6:24

English Standard Version

24 And the Lord commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as we are this day. (Le 18:5; De 4:1; De 6:2; De 6:13; De 8:1; De 10:13; Ps 41:2; Jer 32:39) 

New International Version

24 The Lord commanded us to obey all these decrees and to fear the Lord our God, so that we might always prosper and be kept alive, as is the case today. 

New International Reader’s Version

24 The LORD our God commanded us to obey all his rules. He commanded us to honour him. If we do, we will always succeed and be kept alive. That’s what is happening today. 

King James Version

24 And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.
