Deuteronomy 6:21

English Standard Version

21 then you shall say to your son, ‘We were Pharaoh’s slaves in Egypt. And the Lord brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand. (Ex 20:2) 

New International Version

21 tell him: ‘We were slaves of Pharaoh in Egypt, but the Lord brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand. 

New International Reader’s Version

21 If they do ask you, tell them, ‘We were Pharaoh’s slaves in Egypt. But the LORD used his mighty hand to bring us out of Egypt.
