16 “Honor your father and your mother, as the Lord your God commanded you, that your days may be long, and that it may go well with you in the land that the Lord your God is giving you. (De 4:40) 

New International Version

16 Honour your father and your mother, as the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live long and that it may go well with you in the land the Lord your God is giving you. 

New International Reader’s Version

16 ‘Honour your father and mother, just as the LORD your God has commanded you. Then you will live a long time in the land he is giving you. And things will go well with you there. 

King James Version

16 Honour thy father and thy mother, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
