Deuteronomy 4:26

English Standard Version

26 I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that you will soon utterly perish from the land that you are going over the Jordan to possess. You will not live long in it, but will be utterly destroyed. (De 30:18; De 31:28; De 32:1; Isa 1:2; Jer 2:12; Jer 6:19; Mic 6:2) 

New International Version

26 I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you this day that you will quickly perish from the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess. You will not live there long but will certainly be destroyed. 

New International Reader’s Version

26 Today I’m calling out to the heavens and the earth to be witnesses against you. Suppose you do these things. Then you will quickly die in the land you are going across the River Jordan to take over. You won’t live there very long. You will certainly be destroyed. 

King James Version

26 I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that ye shall soon utterly perish from off the land whereunto ye go over Jordan to possess it; ye shall not prolong your days upon it, but shall utterly be destroyed.
