Deuteronomy 4:21

English Standard Version

21 Furthermore, the Lord was angry with me because of you, and he swore that I should not cross the Jordan, and that I should not enter the good land that the Lord your God is giving you for an inheritance. (De 1:37)

New International Version

21 The Lord was angry with me because of you, and he solemnly swore that I would not cross the Jordan and enter the good land the Lord your God is giving you as your inheritance.

New International Reader’s Version

21 The LORD was angry with me because of what you did. He promised that he would never let me go across the River Jordan. He promised that I would never enter that good land. It’s the land the LORD your God is giving you as your own.

21 Furthermore the LORD was angry with me for your sakes, and sware that I should not go over Jordan, and that I should not go in unto that good land, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance:
