14 And the Lord commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and rules, that you might do them in the land that you are going over to possess. 

New International Version

14 And the Lord directed me at that time to teach you the decrees and laws you are to follow in the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess. 

New International Reader’s Version

14 At that time the LORD instructed me to teach you his rules and laws. You must obey them in the land you are crossing the River Jordan to take as your own. 

King James Version

14 And the LORD commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and judgments, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go over to possess it.
