Deuteronomy 3:12

English Standard Version

12 “When we took possession of this land at that time, I gave to the Reubenites and the Gadites the territory beginning at Aroer, which is on the edge of the Valley of the Arnon, and half the hill country of Gilead with its cities. (Nu 32:32; De 2:36; Jos 13:8) 

New International Version

12 Of the land that we took over at that time, I gave the Reubenites and the Gadites the territory north of Aroer by the Arnon Gorge, including half the hill country of Gilead, together with its towns. 

New International Reader’s Version

12 I divided up the land we took over at that time. I gave the tribes of Reuben and Gad the territory north of Aroer by the River Arnon valley. It includes half of the hill country of Gilead together with its towns. 

King James Version

12 And this land, which we possessed at that time, from Aroer, which is by the river Arnon, and half mount Gilead, and the cities thereof, gave I unto the Reubenites and to the Gadites.
