Deuteronomy 21:15

15 “If a man has two wives, the one loved and the other unloved, and both the loved and the unloved have borne him children, and if the firstborn son belongs to the unloved,[1] (Ge 29:30; Ge 29:33; 1Sa 1:4)

New International Version

15 If a man has two wives, and he loves one but not the other, and both bear him sons but the firstborn is the son of the wife he does not love,

New International Reader’s Version

15 Suppose a man has two wives. He loves one but not the other. And both of them have sons by him. But the eldest son is the son of the wife the man doesn’t love.
