Deuteronomy 1:1

English Standard Version

1 These are the words that Moses spoke to all Israel beyond the Jordan in the wilderness, in the Arabah opposite Suph, between Paran and Tophel, Laban, Hazeroth, and Dizahab. (Nu 21:14; De 3:17; 1Sa 25:1) 

New International Version

1 These are the words Moses spoke to all Israel in the wilderness east of the Jordan – that is, in the Arabah – opposite Suph, between Paran and Tophel, Laban, Hazeroth and Dizahab. 

New International Reader’s Version

1 These are the words Moses spoke to all the Israelites. At that time, they were in the desert east of the River Jordan. It’s in the Arabah Valley opposite Suph. The people were between Paran and Tophel, Laban, Hazeroth and Dizahab. 

King James Version

1 These be the words which Moses spake unto all Israel on this side Jordan in the wilderness, in the plain over against the Red sea , between Paran, and Tophel, and Laban, and Hazeroth, and Dizahab.
