Deuteronomy 15:15

15 You shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the Lord your God redeemed you; therefore I command you this today. (De 5:15) 

New International Version

15 Remember that you were slaves in Egypt and the Lord your God redeemed you. That is why I give you this command today. 

New International Reader’s Version

15 Remember that you were slaves in Egypt. The LORD your God set you free. That’s why I’m giving you this command today. 

King James Version

15 And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in the land of Egypt, and the LORD thy God redeemed thee: therefore I command thee this thing to day.
