Deuteronomy 14:1

English Standard Version

1 “You are the sons of the Lord your God. You shall not cut yourselves or make any baldness on your foreheads for the dead. (Le 19:28; Isa 1:2; Isa 15:2; Isa 22:12; Eze 7:18; Ho 1:10; Am 8:10; Joh 1:12; Ro 9:8; Ro 9:26; Ga 3:26) 

New International Version

1 You are the children of the Lord your God. Do not cut yourselves or shave the front of your heads for the dead, 

New International Reader’s Version

1 You are the children of the LORD your God. Don’t cut yourselves to honour the dead. Don’t shave the front of your heads to honour the dead. 

King James Version

1 Ye are the children of the LORD your God: ye shall not cut yourselves, nor make any baldness between your eyes for the dead.
