Deuteronomy 1:27

English Standard Version

27 And you murmured in your tents and said, ‘Because the Lord hated us he has brought us out of the land of Egypt, to give us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us. (Nu 14:1; De 9:28; Jos 7:7; Ps 106:25) 

New International Version

27 You grumbled in your tents and said, ‘The Lord hates us; so he brought us out of Egypt to deliver us into the hands of the Amorites to destroy us. 

New International Reader’s Version

27 You spoke against him in your tents. You said, ‘The LORD hates us. That’s why he brought us out of Egypt to hand us over to the Amorites. He wanted to destroy us. 

King James Version

27 And ye murmured in your tents, and said, Because the LORD hated us, he hath brought us forth out of the land of Egypt, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us.
