7 Then the magicians, the enchanters, the Chaldeans, and the astrologers came in, and I told them the dream, but they could not make known to me its interpretation. (Da 2:2; Da 2:27; Da 4:18; Da 5:8; Da 5:15)

7 When the magicians, enchanters, astrologers[1] and diviners came, I told them the dream, but they could not interpret it for me.

7 Those who try to figure things out by using magic came. So did those who study the heavens. I told all of them what I had dreamed. But they couldn’t tell me what it meant.
