3 The songs of the temple[1] shall become wailings[2] in that day,” declares the Lord God. “So many dead bodies!” “They are thrown everywhere!” “Silence!” (Jer 16:4; Jer 16:6; Jer 47:2; Am 5:23; Am 6:9; Am 6:10) 

New International Version

3 ‘In that day,’ declares the Sovereign Lord, ‘the songs in the temple will turn to wailing.[1] Many, many bodies – flung everywhere! Silence!’ 

New International Reader’s Version

3 ‘The time is coming when the songs in the temple will turn to weeping,’ announces the LORD and King. ‘Many, many bodies will be thrown everywhere! So be quiet!’ 

King James Version

3 And the songs of the temple shall be howlings in that day, saith the Lord GOD: there shall be many dead bodies in every place; they shall cast them forth with silence.
