Amos 4:2

English Standard Version

2 The Lord God has sworn by his holiness that, behold, the days are coming upon you, when they shall take you away with hooks, even the last of you with fishhooks. (2Ki 19:28; Ps 89:35; Jer 16:16; Hab 1:15) 

New International Version

2 The Sovereign Lord has sworn by his holiness: ‘The time will surely come when you will be taken away with hooks, the last of you with fishhooks.[1] 

New International Reader’s Version

2 The LORD and King has made a promise by his own holy name. He says, ‘You can be sure that the time will come when your enemies will put hooks in your faces. They will lead every one of you away with fishhooks. 

King James Version

2 The Lord GOD hath sworn by his holiness, that, lo, the days shall come upon you, that he will take you away with hooks, and your posterity with fishhooks.
