Amos 2:8

English Standard Version

8 they lay themselves down beside every altar on garments taken in pledge, and in the house of their God they drink the wine of those who have been fined. (Ex 22:26) 

New International Version

8 They lie down beside every altar on garments taken in pledge. In the house of their god they drink wine taken as fines. 

New International Reader’s Version

8 They lie down beside every altar on clothes they have taken. They lie on those clothes until the owner pays back what is owed. In the house of their God they drink wine that was paid as fines. 

King James Version

8 And they lay themselves down upon clothes laid to pledge by every altar, and they drink the wine of the condemned in the house of their god.
